The Northwoods Wilderness Guide Service is located in Schroon Lake, NY, in the "heart of the Adirondacks". We cover Essex, Hamilton and some of Franklin counties, in the central and northern Adirondacks, which encompass some of the most spectacular Adirondack wilderness areas and scenery East of the Mississippi!

We offer Adirondack hunting and fishing trips from one-half day to five days, many with food and Adirondack lodging, tailored to the client's needs. Also offered are Adirondack nature/photo trips, Adirondack camping, hiking, snowshoe and Adirondack cross-country ski adventures. We welcome couples, plus father/son/daughter combos. Everything for the Adirondack outdoors person! These are true wilderness trips, which you will enjoy, as we do, and be able to take home memories that will last forever!
